An incredible opportunity for you to reconnect with your inner naturalist. Join former BBC cameraman Charlie Nash on a 1.5 to 2-hour guided walk around the Chavenage estate investigating, observing and recording the local wildlife.
Everything you see and then record will feed into a database that helps build a picture of the abundance and biodiversity of species on the estate. We will also use camera traps to help us gain a better picture of what we don’t see so readily during the day, as well as app technology to help identify birdsong and plant species.
Charlie Nash, a passionate wildlife watcher, gained a master’s in Wildlife Filmmaking in 2012 before working on BBC’s Springwatch. Charlie is passionate about ecological land restoration from his experiences in filmmaking, conservation and working at the Simon King Wildlife Project. He also has a special interest in beaver ecology.
